Bio

As a nurse practitioner at Pinnacle Pain Management Specialists, Mark holds a Master of Science in Nursing and has more than 20 years of nursing experience. At our Hinsdale office, he sees many of our new patients and follow-up visits and performs in-office injections and procedures. He walks each patient through their options, then builds a treatment plan around their goals, priorities, and daily life.

Mark began his career as a registered nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where he spent more than a decade caring for patients with complex neurological and spinal conditions. He worked in both the neuro-spine intensive care and step-down units, serving as charge nurse and preceptor. That experience gave him a deep understanding of the nervous system and of how pain globally affects patients and their families.

He later became a family nurse practitioner, and before joining Pinnacle, Mark gained experience in knee, shoulder, and trigger point injections, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), IV therapy, and viscosupplementation. He has also taught nursing students as a clinical instructor and now continues to mentor new practitioners at Pinnacle.

Mark has a particular focus in regenerative medicine and its potential to relieve pain while supporting the body’s natural healing. He also enjoys teaching patients about self-care and managing their medications, so they leave each visit feeling informed and confident.
